RWANDA PARTNERS

Fighting Poverty and Restoring Hope
for Rwanda’s Poor

The vision for Rwanda Partners was formed in 2004 when Greg and Tracy Stone led a mission trip from their church in Seattle to Rwanda for the 10 year anniversary of the end of the genocide. On that trip, the Stones encountered poverty such as they had never seen before. They returned to the States committed to serving Rwanda’s poor by forming a non-profit organization called Rwanda Partners.

Rwanda Partners works directly with Rwanda’s poor to fight poverty and restore hope to their lives. We fight poverty through educating vulnerable youth and providing jobs and job skills training to impoverished widows, orphans, former prostitutes, rural farmers and street children. We restore hope to genocide victims traumatized by their losses and to repentant perpetrators traumatized by their crimes through 3 –day Reconciliation Workshops that bring together survivors and perpetrators to work through their pain.
